was born in 1981 in a small town called Karoi which is found in Mashonaland Province as the second born in a family of five.
He did his Primary School at Dzidzai Primary (Seke Six), and later went to Seke High One where he completed  O Levels in the year 2000.
Robert grew up with one parent, his mother, because his parents separated when he was in grade Five.
 
"In the Art field, I was interested in drawing, then later joined Cloppas Kemere and Julius Murenza and they taught me how to carve stone. Im still working with Cloppas and Julius and sometimes they would go to Belgium, where they exhibit their sculptures. At the moment, I haven’t exhibited anywhere in the world.
With my career, I want to go much further exhibiting my sculptures over seas like what my teachers are doing."
